Sounds to me that the FLC writer has a problem. I'll pass this on to TS Monday; we'll see what they have to say. If it's repeatable (that is, if WE can't make a FLC) then we'll catch it easily, I'm sure. A script to lock the palette? Just go in the File I/o panel, select "Set Render Palette", and "Use Existing Palette" instead of "Generate New Palette". That'll do it. No need here for ARexx, I think. btw, that show cords issue for prefs will be addressed; thanks for pointing it out. –Ben …via AutoPilot
