Thanks for the feedback! You're right about the 320×200 printing, but as soon as we started seeing in print some of the things that were coming out of 3DStudio and Animator Pro…WOW! I've got a poster in my office of the city from 3DStudio and some great color printer (Kodak) images. High resolution was a first priority, and to get color and high resolution, we've got the best of both worlds. However, to have both is expensive, so for the most part I am getting by with the HP PaintJet XL300. We're particularly proud of the work, so we want to expose the Autodesk products as much as possible. One inexpensive way to do that is though the lost cost Laserjet printers. I know sometimes it's a chicken and egg situation and it may be sometime before sales of multimedia products approach that of AutoCAD. A proven way to do that is to widen your userbase and market. Don't just go after the video guys, but hit the market that Harvard Graphics, Lotus Freelance and others are expanding on. After all, they're putting elementary animation in their products. You've got a great suite of products and originally your dealer base was divided among video, graphics and CAD dealers. Expanding your strategy on printer output certainly could help the cause and reach beyond "Desktop video" to a growing "Multimedia" market. Hope to see something soon <sigh>.
