I used to be a Vax systems manager type. Way back in '83. Had a VAX-782 (first of the multi-headed Vaxen) that frontended a Cray X/MP. Anyway, check out the file "whatvr.zip" over in GraphDev forum, lib 10 (VR Concepts), if you havent done so already. It will give you the basic background on VR and lots of pointers for more info. (incl contact info on VREAM) If you are in the San Francisco Bay area, try to stop in on the Meckler VR'93 show May 19-21 in San Jose. Ed LaHood will be there demonstrating VREAM. If you arent in that area, WhatIsVR lists a number of local area interest groups in VR. Some of these are VERY active (LA, SF, Chicago, Boston, VRASP, etc). There are some other conferences coming up real soon too. (Cyberthon in Austin TX, a DPMA show in D.C.) I've learned a lot of details about VR in the last year or two. Currently I'm trying to find some real paying VR programming <g>.
