Hardware types: Can the Blitter transfer from a parallel register in one of the CIA's to an ascending or descending ram area? if so, how big an area? as big an area as can be allocated in CHIP ram? if not, why? I see ascending and descending modes in the hardware manual, but I DON'T see a no-inc, no-dec mode… is there one? if you can blit from a parallel port, then how FAST can you do it? 7 meg? 14 meg? 3.5 meg? (I realize those aren't precise, you get the idea — obviously it'll be a factor of the bus rate) Why? I have a hardware project in mind that will benefit all of us, IF one can blit from the parallel port to ram at a very high rate. So; Can you? I need a yes/no on that, and I need a "how fast", in very specific times. And if there are conditions (like shutting off the video DMA or etc, let me know that, too, eh? Thanks in advance, –Ben–
