Gary,
it looks like it may end up being a combination of a cut-off type wetsuit and a
liberal vaseline/lanolin mixture. We're in training, at the moment, swimming at
South Laguna Beach almost every day and I'll need to try and find the best
combination. Unfortunately, the water here is a good 10 degrees Fahrenheit
above the bay temp which doesn't allow for good testing or aclimatization
training. My local health spa did have a plunge pool outside the sauna at about
the right temperature (50 degrees) but they had a fire and are closed. I was
going to do some progressively longer sessions in that, what a shame.
BTW, did you get a chance to read my last e-mail, concerning the flic file?
