You can start by attaching some fractal gifs to simple objects to get the hang
of image_mapping. From there, play with alpha values to "cut out" pieces of the
object within the fractal pattern. Then try some height_fields. The docs are
pretty thourough in these areas but if you have questions, that is what this
forum is for.
Have fun!! I have been at this for about 10 months and am hopelessly addicted!
