Well, it turns out that beginners are just the people we want to test our software on. They do the craziest things with it, and always find the most bugs. And, we want our software to be easy for beginners to run. So I think you would be a good candidate. If you have the time and the interest in putting the software through its paces, and writing up e-mail with your findings, maybe even wandering through the source code… that would be a great help.
