Rick, Well, if it ain't your software, and it ain't the forum software…it's gotta be in hardware someplace. It evidentally isn't a lack of disk space or the last download wouldn't have worked, so that leaves us with the modem and the phone lines. Do you have a hardware error correcting modem ???? Or is all your error correction handled in software ??? How far are you calling to get to the CIS node ??? Sometimes on longer distance calls, the phone company will switch lines during the call. This will not interfere with a regular voice call, but it can really play havoc with a data call. Also check to see if this is repeatable at certain times of the day.
