PMJY, but… first of all, if you are so certain of JDR's quility and have sold
over 500 of them, why do you ask us, mere mortals? Second, what defines the
speed of loading up Windows is hard disk and hard disk controller. Even a Cray
would take longer to load Windows using a el cheapo HD+HDC (if such a thing
could be done. Windows would probably bend the Cray so out of shape that the
poor Cray would refuse to ever boot again). That's just not the right benchmark
procedure for testing CPU speed. The rendering test you proposed is the right
approach. As to everything else being junk… ain't that kinda presumptuous if
not just plain haughty?
