I think you misunderstand my problem. I do not have problems booting
MS-DOS or reading high density MS-DOS disks. I can do this when
booting the amiga with an 880k amiga floppy disk with the appropriate
Amiga Janus files on it.
My problem is that I can not boot my amiga from a high density floppy,
even though it has the exact same files on it as the 880k floppy. The
high density drive starts acting funny when it gets to the
binddrivers command (which uses the janus.library to boot the BB) in
the startup-sequence on the high density floppy. After that point I
can't use df0: at all. I'm also afraid I might ruin my replacement
high density floppy.
