Hmmm. I think my explanation was a tad too brief, since I thought the problem would reproduce readily. If I define chords for measures 1-8, then scroll and display measures 6-14, the chords for measures 7 and 8 are *not* displayed. With a little experimentation, I deduced that it was the measure numbers which were incorrect, i.e., 7 and 8 were really 9 and 10, and thus did not in fact have chords defined. My section was, as I recall, 199 measures long at the time. Bob
