#FCII attributes?
I'm not sure whether you got my previous message so I resending – sorry if
this is a repeat. I'm thinking about alternative wordprocessors to the
one I have and Final Copy ranks fairly high, there are some questions that
I haven't been able to resolve locally, so can FCII do:
– Index and Table of Contents
– Footnotes – numbered sequentially and tied to the same page
– Import/export to other WPs, particularly clone programs like Word and
WPerfect with all attributes and formatting
– Any work arounds for the postscript problem of not recognising
transparent as a colour i.e. in overlaid graphics, the top one
completely obliterates ones underneath.
– Tables, a minispreadsheet sort of thing in appearance, without the
functions
– Fonts, how transportable are fonts to & fro FCII
– Dictionaries apart from US English
– Stylesheets
I would appreciate finding out whether FCII has these or in the pipeline
(like FCIII or FCLXXIV 🙂
