David, Your dealer needs an education. The Install disk doesn't ship with the Amiga 1200 that doesn't come standard with a hard disk. It does come with the A1200HD and the A4000. If you dealer had gotten you Commodore's actual hard drive kit, you'd have gotten not only an IDE cable, but an Install Disk, the AmigaFonts disk with Compugraphic fonts, the AmigaDOS manual, and the ARexx manual. However, you're in luck. Here on CIS, in the Microbotics forum, you can find RDPrep, a Microbotics program that will partition your hard drive and make it read to be formatted. You can then copy your 3.0 stuff to the hard disk. HOWEVER, you'll want the Commodore hard drive kit anyway so you'll get the scalable Compugraphic fonts and the missing manuals.
