Image Viewer Suggestions
If anyone has had good experience with image viewing software, with a low cost
licencing arrangement, I would love to hear from you.
I am currently using uncompressed tiff files generated with PhotoFinish and an
HP II-CP scanner and viewing them with vuimage ™ v3.32. We publish full
text databases and use Folio Views as the search engine. This allows us to
create links for viewing diagrams.
This works very well for line art, but when I try to use grey scale or color
images, they either end up so large that I can only see a fraction of the image
at one time or if scaled to fit the screen, they appear too pixely.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
