Karl,
The '030 A4000 is readily available in the UK and probably elsewhere in
Europe but it is not always the case that particular models available over
here are available in the USA. For instance as well as my A4000 I have two
A1500's but the A1500 model I don't think was ever released in the
States.
BTW the A4000/030 seems to be selling well over here too. This is quite
encouraging as the UK market has always been games based A500's or
A600's.
