I am having a problem with a an older GVP 40 meg hardcard in my A2000 (rev. 6 motherboard) and am hoping someone here can help me, or at least point me in the right direction: When I turn the computer on and the hd attempts to boot-up, I get a "volume workbench has a read-write error" message, and when I click "retry" I get "Unable to load Sys:GVPscripts/tstGVPscsi: file is not an object module". I get the same results when I try a three-fingered salute. However, when I actually turn the computer off and back on at this point, it boots without problem. This has been going on for at about the last 5 months. I have checked the cable for loose connections where it plugs into the card and the drive and all seems in order. The card itself seems properly seated in its slot. I have used diagnostic software to see if there actually is a read-write error and found nothing. I am stumped and at a loss as to where to go from here. Anyone have any ideas?
