Hmmmm… That's a pretty big problem. The database entry numbers are
based on the database entries themselves. There would be no way to add
more than one movie for each entry because by definition, there would be
more entries… (does that make sense?). I'm not even sure how I might
set up the program to do that. Any ideas on how the program might work
that way? Perhaps making another text field called "tape number"? Of
course, this would only be necessary on Vidtape since you can't record on
a laser disc (yet). Hmmm…. definately something I will look into for
the next version.
Thanks for the idea. In the meantime, if length isn't that important to
you, you might try using the length for the tape number (000-9999). That
way youu can have it as a separate entry and search by tape number. It
would also let you know what tape number any of your movies are on! At
least it will work until I can update the program to do what you like.
