Hi Nancy, Thanks for your imput. (I alway read & learn from your messages) I, however, NEVER zap anything <G>; I still have Amiga DOS 1.0 (1985!) & all the 1.2 Betas!! I keep every master disk I get, you never know. BTW TypeSmith will creat Type 1 .PFB & .AFM files from CG fonts. I have been using only PS (though in type 3 Ppage form) since I got the HP4m. My basic problem with PgS was I didn't know which files to put in what dir to get PS (& screen) output. I had a long talk (voice) with Mark & got that all straight (he's great). Very simple; .PFB & .AFM in same dir and if you can figure out their path system <G> switch over. Now instead of putting all those ProStream fonts in at once, I can pick & choose. Gracia
