scsi.device from where ?

On the 3000, (and 3000T) the scsi.device is in the ROM. That's the easy part. The not-so-easy part, you'll need a CD-ROM "filesystem" to let the Amiga find the files on the disk. (PC equivalent: MSCDEX.EXE) 3 companies (that I'm aware of) make such things: Canadian Prototype Replicas (CPR) Xetec, ASIMware Innovations I've tried ASIMware's and CPR's. CPR's is rock solid. ASIM's killed my C debugger when used with my Texel drive (only generated a 173k "enforcer hit" file in 10 minutes…). Some really oddball interaction between ASIM's software and the C= "SCSI bus handler" task. Not fun. Brian — Cruising on AutoPilot…..
