Well…… Guess yoiu could say that was kinda on purpose. This is a software bug and not a virus. These are all strictly ASCII files that are getting hacked and viri don't affect ASCII files. Apparently pointers to the text portion of the file or linking pointers between headers are getting trashed, and it may be by the HMI interface (all that CIM stuff). So there will be at least two groups working on it. The forum support programmers and the HMI programmers. Yep!!! HMI was written by a different set of programmers, and it was written from a spec. Evidentally them guys never did use what they wrote….<g>. HMI ain't even got the simplest of sysop commands in it.
