And what are the Atari computers? You know, the computer platform that has sales figures similar to the Amiga. 😎 Discounting PCs and Macs to your friends, doesn't mean they will necessarily buy an Amiga. They have another choice called Atari. That's the platform the Amiga is really competing against. People who want PCs and Macs, for whatever reason, aren't really going to flock to the Amiga in any significant numbers. At least they haven't in the past. The type of people that would consider an Amiga would probably also consider an Atari. Just like when there was the Atari 800 line and the C64. The Atari people are the ones you would have to persuade. To paraphrase Satchel Paige, don't look ahead to see if the Amiga can catch PCs and Macs, but look behind you because the Atari computers might be about to pass you.
