PCTask
J0RGEN,
Let me know what he says; I'm interested to know how well it runs on
PC-Task myself!
I've been perusing some of the USENET traffic on PC-Task, and picked up a
very interesting tidbit:
If you're using MS-DOS 5.0 and did the original installation while using
the earlier versions of PC-Task that only supported CGA, then the SETUP
installer decided you didn't need the EGA/VGA drivers and didn't install
them! That means that you can't run DOSSHELL in EGA/VGA graphics modes!
I UNINSTALLED DOS 5.0, then reinstalled it while in VGA emulation mode,
now all the little screen quirks (with the exception of no DOS cursor in
VGA mode) went away, and I can also use DOSSHELL in hi-res EGA/VGA
graphics mode.
