Tom, on your "Transcode 60 fps non-interlaced images to 30 fps laced", that's
what I can't get out of the FS <sigh>. Just think, if we could do that, we
could have PC to PC wipes and disolves and just do away with the cameras
alltogether <grin>. Well, can't have everything easy. The Diamond folks were
so surprised with the discovery that they discontinued the series of display
adapters <sigh>. Well, that's not the only reason, but they were quite amazed
that they had let a capability like that slip through without being able to
market it to the hilt. All they needed to add to the Star 24 adapters was B&C
connectors for the R/G/B/S outputs. Then they could triple the price and
market it as a Standards Converter interface <grin>.
