A gentleman answered me on this forum in regards to Chaos, which wouldn't exit back to DOS. I don't remember who you are, but you were having a similar problem. I spoke with Autodesk today, and a guy there named Bob, told me to change the errorlevel value on one of the lines near the top of chaos.bat to 9, from 999. This apparently helps Chaos to work under Ndos. (a command processor that Norton licensed from 4dos) This solution has allowed me to exit back to DOS, but it is not clean. Metashel remains in memory. The metashel /k command results in a statement saying that another tsr has been loaded on top of the shell and it cannot remove itself. There must be some conflict with Ndos, because I'm not loading anything else after Chaos. In fact, I am issuing the metashel /k command immediately after exiting Chaos. I'm going to call Autodesk again tomorrow, but if anybody has any other ideas, I'm all ears. md
