J0RGEN,
I rather doubt you'll find the emulation fast enough for any serious work
if you're running it on a 7MHZ 68k. I'm running it on a 25MHZ CSA
Derringer '030 w/ 4MB 32 bit RAM; w/benchmarks within a percent or two of
a 25MHZ A3000. I get Norton SI ratings of 1.6, which puts is a little
faster than an old XT class PC. Its good enough to run the apps I need.
On an unaccelerated machine, you'd probably only get SI ratings of about
.4 (just estimating).
On the other hand, its better than nothing, and its even better at
reading, writing, and formatting MS-DOS disks than Cross-DOS. I've had
Cross-DOS formatted disks choke on a real PC, but those done on PC-Task
have always worked flawlessly.
