I guess the '040 would explain your speed. About your suggestion that I
purchase a T4000… no thanks. I currently have a T2.0 crammed in my 3000 –
not without problems, though. My soft-edge transitions don't work very well
and if I restart the toater SW after my machine has been on a while I get
'Toaster not responding' errors. It's not the PS (I've installed a 200W).
Anyway, about your spline editing, lens flares, scalable fonts or not… $800
for a software upgrade is outrageous! Everybody on this board keeps talking
about the upgrade prices as if they're a steal… I say snap out of it.. the
king is naked and those prices are high!
