Steve, yep. One advantage Photoshop has is its superior memory usage, where an alpha channel only uses 8 bits/pixel compared to 24 bits in Imagemaster. I also have serious doubts about the quality of IM's feathering. Have you ever repeatedly outlined a brush in Deluxe Paint? Notice how the contour has all these strange 45-degree edges? IM seems to use a similar algorithm when feathering area edges, whereas I've never seen such artifacts in Photoshop-generated images. Ben, am I doing something wrong? Blaq!
