Hi Joe,
The setup I described used an SBPro as the Mitsumi drive's interface, thereby
eliminating the Mitsumi interface.
As far as which driver was used, I have no idea… but as I stated, since some
people have trashed their sound card by doing this, I wouldn't recommend
experimenting unless you have extra cash lying around and don't mind buying a
new sound card. I certainly wouldn't attempt this, but then again, I probably
wouldn't buy a Mitsumi drive, anyway.
One of the ATI Stereo/FX cards has an actual interface for the Mitsumi drive (&
the CL drive, & Sony-bus drives), so that'd be a safer bet if you don't already
own a sound card…
