First, what speed 030 are you talking about, and the 040 I presume is our 33MHz model for A2000, right? Second, you're using Lightwave, right? Regarding the serial and parallel ports – it's tough for me to comment since you gave almost no details on what you're trying to do with them. How does the parallel port show up in file requesters (as what)? What file requester are you talking about? What software? What are you trying to use the serial port for? What software? I shall try to get someone more qualified than I to comment on your answers to these questions.
