Your wife could run a plain vanilla CD-ROM drive via a Bridgeboard on the Amiga; cut and paste stuff from it via the Amiga's Bridgeboard window to Amiga applications. People are doing it. In fact I believe I recall hearing people who have a CD-ROM drive doing triple duty as a Mac, IBM and Amiga CD-ROM, all via switchboxing! But wait a bit and see if Commodore doesn't start offering more direct CD-ROM support. Meanwhile, there are at least three third-party ISO-compatible CD-ROM file systems for the Amiga that also can handle a good deal of the CDTV catalog.
