What I meant was that the 2.0 requester is "hot" in the sense that it begins reading files, and immediately makes the first ones available to you as it reads them – you can click and go if you see what you want; if not, but you know what you want anyway, you can type it in, press enter and you're running without having to read the entire directory. Our requester reads the whole shooting match before it even pays any attention to you – so it hinges on just how you tend to use file requesters. At some point, we'll have to hot ours up, and then there will be very little reason, at least as far as I am concerned, for anyone to use the ASL requester which is otherwise pretty near useless. –Ben …via AutoPilot
