Glen, Yes, bias of the writer is certainly a factor. We try to overcome that by publishing as many reviews as possible on the same title by different authors. If three say a title is good, one says bad and one says middlin, it is much easier for the reader to "adjust" for the bias. The best part of a review, however, is the constructive criticism–how to make it better, or what makes it good or bad. I guess this pro/con thing is what makes Siskel and Ebert so good. Rgds Jan
