Never heard of CD GEN, but I note that Pinnacle's new recorder is under five
grand and allegedly has not only red book (and the rest) support but also audio
outputs. Haven't seen it, though, just reviews.
I would suspect that most recorders out there are cranking out beta copies
of things (I've received several such) and archiving or distributing internal
databases in corporate setups.
