I have the Texel DM-3024, which is double speed. (I think the external version
is DM-5024.) I'm using the SCSI port on my PAS 16 sound card to control it. I
bought it primarily because of favorable comments I've seen about it here and
in other CIS forums. I've just had it for a few weeks, and I think it's great.
$499 Canadian would be what, about $430 or so US? The prices I've seen are
generally around $400 or so…
