I'm having some trouble with PCA, and I'm not sure if it's due to my having an older version (2.0). The loop F/X item on the Frames menu is not included in the manual anywhere, and I'm not sure I'm using it correctly. I am having a problem appending a non-looping animation onto the end of a looping one. I need to have the first anim ping-pong one time, then go on to the second one. Instead, it looks like its doing it 1.5 times, or something wierd. I set the #times option to 1, and clicked ping-pong. I didn't see anything relevant to click on the terminate options other than #times. In addition, I have an animation that I was going to place immediatly in front of this repeating one (I am doing this in pieces), that is behaving rather strangely. I'm not sure if it's a bug or what. It is supposed to be a flying saucer, growing from a point to full-size, and moving along a path. If I tab through the finished product, everything looks fine. But if I play it, when it gets to the end it holds the last image on the screen, and starts a ping-pong. When the spaceship makes its second approach and intersects with the image that stayed in the screen, the two images converge to produce a strange off-color shadowy image of the saucer. I looked through the entire anim and haven't found any loop effects. (I noticed that the counter for those frames are changed from blue to red.) This only occurs when I have the option set to LOOP. One time works OK. But if I go directly to the last frame, it's black, no matter how I've set up the looping. I'm not sure whether this is a looping problem, or a palette problem or what. If I try to append my looping animation to the end of this, the looping segment gets color-shifted and ghosted similarly. Thinking this might be a palette problem, I clipped an image of the saucer, pulled down the palette menu, and used the USE CLIP option to make sure all anims had the same palette, and saved them. But nothing changed. I can send you these ANI files, if you want. Thanks, Ellison
