Keith, It is an external drive, but it is powered by the PC. You get one SCSI
card with it to put into a port in your computer, after doing that, it is
portable. The only reason it was being used was to store mass amounts of data
for graphics. I used Stacker with it and that works great. 90MB to
approximately 135MB on each cartridge. The reason I am selling it is because
we now have a an optical drive. Optical drive is a lot slower, but more
memory. The Bernoulli was as fast as my hard drive, about 15ms.
