Challeron,
I have had similar experiences using the HPPheripheral Forum's printer
driver for the 550C. Black letters dying on the right side, like the ink
level running low in the cartridge, switch to grayscale or B/W and it
prints fine and darker.
I'm looking at Studio Printer.
