today introduced Kodak Shoebox Image Manager Software
(version 1.0) for the Macintosh operating system, with immediate
availability in the U.S. and Canada.
Kodak Shoebox software is designed to help commercial users
manage thousands of high-quality Photo CD images and other
multimedia content stored on desktop computers. Photo CD
images are high-resolution images originally captured on 35 mm
film, and then digitized and stored on special compact discs.
Kodak Shoebox software enables users to index, catalog, and
search thumbnail Photo CD images through user-defined fields,
key words, and captions. This database software simplifies and
accelerates the location and organization of images. With a simple
click of a mouse, users can view, copy, crop, export, or print
images. Thumbnail images can be displayed and printed in contact
sheet format.
