Yes, I had heard of the price cuts. Up here in "slighty higher in Canada" the lowest price I've seen advertised is about $750 (w/tax) which roughly translates to US$600 (it is a pretty good price considering I paid over $800 for the 2286). I'm wary about buying H/W mailorder because I believe that as soon as it crosses the boarder I loose the warrenty (unless the reseller is willing to back it up). But thankyou for pointing it out. Also, I currently only use the BB for my personal accounts, the occasional spreadsheet and to learn "C": nothing too demanding at this point. Andrew
