Blaq, I missed the morning show, but strangly enough, I happened across it at mid-night. The show covered IBM Multi-media, MAC Morphing, and Toaster DVE's (with KiKi). It appeared as though in the middle of IBM's Paint demo (the guy was trying to whiten Robert Redfords teeth) the screen disappeared and went to a dos prompt. Needless to say, he didn't finish his demo and they quickly went to the next subject! The MAC Morphing was lame, at best. The demo had Joan morphing into Mel Gibson. It wasn't very well done, and it incorporated a slider to produce the effect (instead of an actual anim). The MAC demonstrator had some problems moving windows around and the screen/window refresh rates were horried (Joan found it "refreshing" to see a computer nerd having trouble, too). KiKi's demo was undoubtedly the best (unbiased?), but she only showed the different digital video transitions on the A2000 based system. She mentioned that the system could be had for under $5000.00 (I don't think the home videographers were ready to shell out the bucks for a video switcher alone — she should have shown more.) All in all, I was pretty un-impressed. Alan Henry
