The best way to fix the problem is to delete HDBackup and buy AmiBack
or Quarterback. Data compression just plain does not work but worse than
that many people have made backups with it thinking that everything was
fine only to find that when they needed to they could not restore their
data. I was very supprised to see that it was still included in it's
original 2.04 version on the 2.1 upgrade. There were many messages from
people having problems with it when 2.04 was first released and I assumed
they would either fix it or get rid of it on the next release.
