I have a mitsumi cdrom player w/ a SCSI adaptor. Each attempt to load a cdrom package results in separtic results. For example, one product is a tax database on cdrom. — approx. 680MB– I am able to load the tax database, and view it on screen. Yet, When I try the various functions within the database, the computer locks up. –Note: Nec 486 66I w/ 8MB ram, 610KB convention memory. The company which produces this cdrom product, believes it is a problem with the cdrom player. — They suggested I place a terminator on the player. This results in a Dos ERROR message.– NO OPTICAL DEVICE DETECTED or NO HOST ADAPTOR DETECTED. Any ideas to solve this problem would be appreciated? Thanks!
