Well, I guess that would depend on a couple of things. Does someone outside of C= want actually want the AAA chip? If so, is it proprietarily designed to a 0x0 architecture, or can any 'ol CPU make it do it's magic? It seems logical, that were it most effective on the 0x0, that some semblance of the Amiga would survive to reduce having to build a whole new machine to utilize the technology. That is, if anyone wants the AAA. If CD32 is sold off entirely, and kept alive as some sort of mulit-media, or game platform, or both, then the AGA users have a pretty safe ride, at least in the new software department, for quite some time. Something that I would look at, had I several million <g>, is the already established user base on a product that has had practically NO marketing and NO support from the parent company. With that said, just how powerful do you think the Amiga would be in the computer world, had it had just a FRACTION of Intel's advertising budget? Anyone who buys the Amiga technology outright, assuming it can even be done, has a pretty good sized "startup" user base. It can only go up from where it sits right now.
