If you think the end of the Amiga means the end of the Toaster, you have another thing coming. A few AGA chips on a stand-alone card would make the toaster work in any CPU. The Flyer doesn't need the Amiga at all to run, but does use the Toaster's real-time wipes and there are many work arounds available and becoming available on other platforms for that. LightWave, you can rest assured, is poised to thrive and survive.
