I don't think so. If the company could have been aquired in tact without
the debt at such high levels, AND the AAA was done, included 24 bit basic
display modes, 16 bit stereo audio, full mem protected mutli-tasking, and
the move to RISC was through prototype, then it might have been an
attractive propostion to build on the existing nich market and "be there"
in the midst of the ever-quickenin DTV/MM revolution.
However, none of that stuff was imminent, just waiting for financing to go
to production, the company has been dissassembled arlready, has virtually
no developer support in real-world terms and an existing technology which
at this stage in its life is rather ho-hum.
The only possible part of the technolgy I see anyone being interested in
is CD32 and possibley only Phllips would be interested from the view of
insuring a competitor stays dead.
