Rejuvenating a tired keyboard. I am using an A3000. In the last few months, some frequently-used keys became unreliable. Eventually the letter "A" worked only about 8 times out of 10 hits. The space bar worked near the middle, but not near the ends. I took the keyboard apart and found that the keys push little plungers that bridge two spots on the circuit board underneath. The spots appeared to be coated with graphite. Some were almost bare, and others had dirt on them. I used a soft pencil to clean these spots and recoat them with graphite. Now all my keys work, all the time.
