All, I have a question regarding SMOKE_I.SXP usage. I'm using SMOKE in a scene with 13 different settings, each in a different material. Render times were unmanageably long until I tried copying SMOKE_I.SXP as SMOKE_I2.SXP, SMOKE_I3.SXP, etc. I then had each material call a different copy of SMOKE and the render times came back down. All was fine until today, when I had this error appear during the Readying Materials part of rendering: "Can't load process C:\TESTMAPS\SMOKE_I3_I.SXP" Somehow the underscore-i was appended to one of the SXP copies, and it has the same problem (with a different SXP copy) each time I try to re-render. Any ideas for a work-around? See the image in the ASOFT-IPAS library called SUNS.JPG (should be there soon). A colleague here suggests using only one copy of the SXP, with each material calling the same EXPONENT setting… but I'm using several different exponents… Thanks, Eric
