Buying 3DS 2.0

I have seen offers for around $2K. Don't know if there were takers. I think a
new copy goes for ~$3K. You may also then want to buy other add-ons so the
total price will probably be more.
I am not yet at a point where 3DS is a clear necessity for me. However, in 6
mos it will be if certain of my bids come through. So, I'm trying to take my
time and get the best deal I can in the next few months rather than wait 6mos
until I absolutely need it, can't afford to shop around, and have to pay full
retail. ;=)
