#Buying 3DS 2.0

->Periodically I see ads offering to sell 3DS 2.0.
Be forewarned, I just went this route and there are some pitfalls to avoid.
Force the seller to provide you with proof of legal registration prior to
making any deal. There's people out there with demo & otherwise non-legal
copies who are trying to sell these things as legal copies for bargain prices.
A real owner knows the value of the software and will price it accordingly.
They may have the entire package, manuals, dongle, etc., but that doesn't
necessarily mean they have legal ownership or that it's not a demo copy. I
almost got *seriously* burned by a guy doing this.
