2.5" IDE drives also do not require a seperate power cable, the ribbon
cable that connects the drive to the host also supplies power.
I noticed the subject line in your message, and the 2.5" drives are also
important for the A1200 since there is only enough room inside for a 2.5"
drive' a 3.5" drive would not fit.
